A little bit about Ria.....

"I've been able to draw all my life. It comes naturally and the earliest pictures I have are from age 2, a smiling sun and a house. I always thought everyone else could draw too, that it wasn't so unusual and everywhere I went, I brought a folder with paper, and a pencil case filled with no. 2 pencils. Everyone knew I would sit and draw wherever I was. I took all the art classes available in high school - just because I knew they would be fun and easy for me, but rebelled against everyone's advice to pursue an art career in college. Instead, I went into the medical field. I worked as a Patient Care Assistant at a local hospital while attending nursing classes. At the same time, I was employed as a paid-on-call firefighter/emt at the local fire department. That was the best time of my life and I don't regret my decision for a second.

I recently found a home for my art here on-line on Johnny's Green Pen, drawing what I know and what I love. I'm very grateful for the chance to share my art with others, who I know will appreciate it. I plan to keep illustrating the wonderful fan fiction that people write, hoping to add to their stories and help bring them to life."
