Krazy by Kajakat Early in the morning, Roy walked into the locker room and found his partner sitting on the bench, staring into his locker. A forlorn look was on his face. Roy stepped over to Johnny and decided to ask him what was wrong, wondering if another woman broke his partner's heart. "What's wrong Johnny?" Roy looked down at his seated partner. Johnny moved his hands away from his face and stared at his partner. Speaking softly Johnny said, "I can't believe what he did." Johnny shook his head. Remembering past Phantom pranks, with a smile on his face realizing the source of Johnny's unhappiness, Roy asked, "what did he do now?" Johnny just pointed to the contents hanging in his locker. "Go look Roy and you'll see for yourself." Roy inched closer to the locker, surprised that Johnny didn't move out of his way. Roy looked at Johnny's street clothes nicely suspended on the hangers. "Maybe I'm dense, this morning, Johnny, but I don't see what the problem is." With dismay written all over his face Johnny said, "try to move the stuff, Roy." Roy raised his hand and tried to move the hanger, but found it glued in place. Every hanger was 1½ inch apart and permanently fixed to the rod. "So the Phantom glued your hangers. I don't understand the big deal." Rubbing his face from his seated position, Johnny continued. The annoyance was evident in his voice. "Roy, try to take the clothing off." Johnny hung his head down, leaning on his arms that were resting on his elbows. Roy tried to remove Johnny's shirt, but it was glued to the hanger. Johnny's jeans were also permanently attached to the hanger. Every item of clothes hanging from a hanger, was immovable. Johnny looked down at the shoes in his locker and pointed. Roy tried to move them, but found they too were glued down. Everything in Johnny's locker was stuck in its position, frozen in time. Roy was dumfounded. He thought for several minutes before continuing. "Let's get some acetone from the squad and use it to remove the hangers from the rod. And then we can work on your clothing, shoes, dopp kit, etc." Roy started walking away, but looked over his shoulder and noticed Johnny didn't move. "Aren't ya comin' Junior?" Johnny's face reddened. "I would Roy, but it seems I'm stuck too." Johnny buried his head in his hands. Sure enough, when Roy walked over to his seated friend, he noticed Johnny's pants were cemented to the bench. "I guess I'll get some scissors too." Roy softly said, shaking his head, as he walked toward the squad wondering how the Phantom was able to pull this one off. |
